Children are now showing a heightened interest in trying Vaporized cannabis as well, according to a report published in-may 2021 in the peer-reviewed Journal of Adolescent Health. This study was done by the National Institute of Mental Health, that is a government agency within the united states Department of Education. Researchers examined the smoking behaviors of twenty-three children, including ten who smoked cigarettes regularly and fifteen who didn’t smoke at all. It was found that even children who have been only occasional marijuana smokers were willing to try vaporizing cannabis. Interestingly, this study didn’t look at the long-term ramifications of E-Cigs on these children’s long-term smoking habits, only their short-term ones.
Overall, it would appear that the dangers of E-Cigs are just about exactly what you might expect from combustible cigarette smoking. The only real difference is that instead of inhaling toxic gases, smoke is established in an E-Cig, rather than blowing out of a traditional cigarette. The biggest dangers of E-Cigs are from vaporizing toxins in your lungs instead of from actual combustion.
